Julie Rowe, L.Ac

Welcome!  I'm Julie and I'd like to express my enthusiasm and joy in your taking the very first step towards a future with less physical and/or emotional suffering!  Sometimes it's scary trying new things and I hope this website has been helpful in acquainting you to what I do.

Graduating with honors, I received my Master's of Science degree in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine from Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine of New York Chiropractic College and am a licensed Oriental Medicine Practitioner in the state of Pennsylvania.  I completed a 4.5 year program in 3 years with a total of 164 credit hours, 3,060 contact hours, and 885 clinical hours with over 450 patient contacts. I also studied in Hangzhou China at the Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the First Affiliate Hospital of Zhejiang Chinese Medicine University in Hangzhou, China and am the recipient of several herbal awards.  Currently, I am enrolled in Pacific College of Health Sciences on track to earn my Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) with an anticipated graduation of Spring 2021. I hope to serve as a role model for my patients by embodying every aspect of wellness that I attempt to cultivate in my patients.  I look forward to meeting you and providing you with compassionate, patient-centered care.

Prior to embarking on a 3 year (and now lifetime!) journey to study Oriental medicine:

I was born, raised, & reside in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania with my husband and son. I graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies & Geography.
